About Us
Founded in 1991, Catkins Pre-School has a wealth of experience in helping prepare and develop children as they grow. We are a session based Pre-school that runs for 38 weeks a year and operates from a community hall with a secure outside play area located in the suburban area of Walderslade, Chatham.
As a Pre-school, we are inspected and regulated by Ofsted. We currently have an excellent team of caring and committed staff, all of which are fully qualified in current childcare qualifications, DBS Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) and First Aid certified.
At Catkins we recognise parents as the first and most important educators of their young children. We aim to support parents and are very keen that you should feel a part of Catkins Pre-school and your child's ongoing development.
We are able to offer Free for Two funding, funding for working parents of 3 year olds and the new entitlement for working parents of 2 year olds, where eligible. To check your eligibility click here.
